Frequently Asked Question
The most common explanation is that the time when the sms text message is sent by the alarm unit is correct, but the time stamp inside the text message is given in GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). Depending on your time zone this needs to be converted. E.g. the time difference between Sweden and Great Britain is one (1) hour during the winter half of the year and two hours during the summer due to Daylight Saving Time.
In rare cases the message is delayed, or stopped even, when it is routed through the network provider’s network on the way from the alarm unit to your cell phone. If you have recurring problems with delayed alarm messages, and particularly if the delay length is different each time, please contact our Support Center. In these cases we need to examine this, and possibly ask the network provider to investigate what has happened.
