Why is the alarm not responding through the app?

The Alarm probably got poor GSM coverage where it is stored. Test if it works to communicate with the alarm via SMS command (ex: pin gps, pin status, pin alarm on, pin alarm off). Try moving the alarm to a different geographic location where it may be poor coverage where the alarm is located.
